One student was killed in a forest fire that broke out in Theni district of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. The authorities have however managed to rescue 12 students and a massive operation is continuing to save more lives. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the IAF has also been pressed into service.
